The Outer Worlds has a nice looking aesthetic, but some people may find the default FOV is a bit weird and headache inducing. If you play on PC, here’s how to change FOV in The Outer Worlds.
How to Change FOV in The Outer Worlds
Last edited on 31 January 2019 - 06:11 PM by Squirtleshell So, I saw the FOV Changer option, so I enabled it and changed everything to 50 and enabled it. Btw my normal fov is 50, so nothing should've changed, but then it changed my fov to like 70 or something, but in the Minecraft settings, it still says 50. This Video Shows How You Change Your Field Of Vision In Minecraft, Which Basically Means How Much You Can See Around You. Just Like Peripheral Vision. Basic FOV Slider Mod for Beta 1.7.3. For anyone who still plays Beta 1.7.3, I've made a simple mod that adds an FOV slider in the options menu from the later versions of the game. The only noticeable difference is that the hand/item model is stretched out. Note: this mod will not work with the new Minecraft launcher.
Enable auto fov and insert your actual vertical fov (due to vdeg) and now you are set and wont have to worry about it alternatively you might as well use teh horizontal value but i prefer using vdeg same result no impact auto fov matches the fov while retaining the games actual fov type Edited August 22 by fortunate reee. While I used 5zig, I had my FOV set at 80, and Dynamic FOV set so once I sprint my FOV changes, but I also had Static FOV on, from 5zig which meant my FOV doesn’t change when I have speed. I realized Static FOV hasn’t been added to BLC, so I tried changing my Sprinting & Speed FOV to around 90-95, in hopes that the walking to sprinting FOV.
Note that this is only applicable for PC players of The Outer Worlds. At this time there is no way to change your FOV on PS4 and Xbox One. First, you can his escape to bring up the main menu and go to settings. Go to the gameplay tab and you’ll see an option for FOV.
You can change the FOV to anything you want up to 120. Mess around with the settings until you get a configuration you think looks nice. You can go back into the game when you’re done and the settings will stay how you set them.
There are some other settings you can change in the menu, so feel free to browse around and you might discover some things you can change to improve your experience.
Wondering how to zoom in on Minecraft?
With the pandemic running all over the world right now, Games have emerged as entertainment for all ages.
Minecraft is one of them.
In this game, you can build worlds of your own choice, and if you explore you can find new elements that you can use to build your world in different ways.
But this requires the breaking of the blocks with different items to create more complex things and hence this requires to zoom in.
In this article, I’ll help you to zoom in on Minecraft on PC Windows 10.
Method 1: Adjust your Field of View (FOV) to Zoom in on Minecraft
In Minecraft, there is an option available in which you can change what’s visible to your screen. It can be done by adjusting your Field of View. If the FOV value is higher, you’ll see more things in your view. So select your FOV value to low so that you can get a zoomed-in view of your world.
Follow the steps below to change your FOV value to low.
- Open your Minecraft and enter the game.
- When you are in-game, press the Esc button to open the game menu.
- Select the Options… box in the game menu.
- In the options tab, slide the bar inside FOV to the left. In this way, you’ll be able to see lesser details by zooming in.
Your game will be now zoomed in.
Method 2: Zoom in on Minecraft by using Optifine MOD

Instead of using the zoom functionality, you can also use maps to navigate inside Minecraft.
Make Zoomed out Map
You’ll notice that your map is set to a certain zoom value. But you can also make a more zoomed-out map by expanding it to contain a larger view of your world.
- Make sure you have created a map of your world.
- To create a zoomed-out map first you need to collect 32 pieces of paper. We’ll create the zoomed out map in 4 levels and 8 pieces are required at every level.
- Open your crafting table and place your map in the center.
- Place each of the pieces of paper in the empty squares of the crafting grid.
- Move the resulting map to your inventory
- repeat the whole process 4 times. ( 3 more times after the first time)
